Tournament Gaming Machines
Tournament Gaming Machines deployed in Singapore must be secure,
reliable and auditable, so as to ensure honest gaming. The Singapore
Technical Standards for Tournament Gaming Machines describes key
technical requirements that serve to achieve this.
The Singapore Technical Standards for Tournament Gaming Machines Version
1.0 and Version 1.1 were released on 23 March 2012 and 4 March 2015
respectively. The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore (the
“Authority”) has published
a revised version of the Singapore Technical Standards for Tournament
Gaming Machines, Version 1.2 on 7 May 2015 (the “Publication Date”). All
industry players must comply with Version 1.2 of the Singapore
Technical Standards for Tournament
Gaming Machines with effect from 7 May 2015 (the “Effective Date”).
The Singapore Technical Standards for Tournament Gaming Machines is a
culmination of extensive research by GRA, with contributions and
feedback from our various overseas counterparts and industry
stakeholders that we have engaged in our consultation
process. We thank our counterpart regulators and industry stakeholders
for their valuable contributions and feedback.
