Slot Management System

Slot Management Systems (SMS) deployed in Singapore must be secure, reliable and auditable, so as to ensure honest gaming. The Singapore Technical Standards for SMS describes key technical requirements that serve to achieve this.

The Singapore Technical Standards for SMS Version 1.1 was released on 23 June 2010. The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Singapore (the “Authority”) has published a revised version of the Singapore Technical Standards for SMS, Version 1.2 on 4 March 2015 (the “Publication Date”). All industry players must comply with Version 1.2 of the Singapore Technical Standards for SMS with effect from 6 March 2015 (the “Effective Date”).

The Singapore Technical Standards for SMS is a culmination of extensive research by GRA, with contributions and feedback from our various overseas counterparts and industry stakeholders that we have engaged in our consultation process. We thank our counterpart regulators and industry stakeholders for their valuable contributions and feedback.
